The things they come up with

There's a machine in our library that looks like this:

For a while, I thought it was a spaceship or a time machine.

Then, I realized that it's a scanner. You can place any document on the table (books especially) and scan them into a PDF document, and then email it to yourself!* Woah.

I can't imagine what it must have been like to be in graduate school before technology.

*Yes, this is as exciting as my life is right now...
